8 Simple Reasons why you should love Audrey Hepburn:</p>
eight.because of her love for animals.

seven.because she's acted with the best.

over 27 projects, audrey has being paired with Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, Fred Astaire and Gary Cooper just to name a few. No matter what the movie, she's always been able to sell a convincing love story. Even if the man is twice her age!
six.because of her acting range.

it's so easy to identify audrey as the whimsical gal in love with Tiffany's. Or the young Princess desperate for normalcy. it's often forgotten that she has offered such heartbreaking preformances as a school teacher accused of a lesbian affair in The Children's Hour or as a women who falls in love very young, only to be neglected and cheats on her husband in Two for the Road. She has been nominated for an Oscar five times, all in leading categories. She even took home the statuette in her first starring role.
five.because of her famouse movie roles.

Holly Golightly. Eliza Dolittle. Sabrina Fairchild. She's known world round as a princes, a chauffeur's daughter or a cockney flower girl. It's never tiring to watch Audrey fall for a brash American reporter or capture the hearts of two brothers, both vastly different. I consider Funny Face, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany's and My Fair Lady comfort movies.
four.because of her lesser known roles.

If you ever see one Audrey Hepburn movie in your life.....see Breakfast at Tiffany's. But if you happen to see two or three, please check out Two for the Road or Wait Until Dark. Audrey is so breathtaking in some of her lesser known movies that you might find yourself astounded. How she ever lost the Oscar for her turn in Wait Until Dark is still a mystery to me.
three.because of her effortless charm and elegance.

Audrey had so much charm that it's hard not to love her. She was very modest and was constantly in shock of her own fame. She once said “I probably hold the distinction of being one movie star who, by all laws of logic, should never have made it. At each stage of my career, I lacked the experience.”
two.because of her fashion.

How could I not include her fashion? Hard to believe that when Audrey rocketed to stardom, she was considered very pixie, boyish and elfin. She started a whole new trend and in the business of Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Jayne Maynsfield and Gina Lollobrigida, Audrey broke the mold. And in the words of famed director Billy Wilder She started something new. She started something classy.
one.because of her heart.

During WWII, Audrey spent most of her teen years in Occupied Holland. Giving ballet preformances during the night to help the Dutch Resistance. When the war ended, Audrey was terribly ill. Her recouperation after near death was aided by food parcels from United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, a forruner to UNICEF. Later in life, she got involved with UNICEF. She was able to bring attention to their cause. She was named a unicef Goodwill Ambassador. She was able to speak on behalf of Turkey, Finland, Holland, Ireland and Australia. The U.S. Congress heard her message and subsequently sent $60,000,000 in funds go to the people of Ethiopia. Her work began to pay off. In Turkey, Audrey started her effort to help prevent the children from getting the six most preventible diseases. The army donated trucks and fishmongers gave their wagons for the vaccines. Once the date was set, it took ten days to vaccinate the whole country.
